Description:
In the next part of the adventure, we continue further along the Canning Stock Route to eventually end up at the picturesque Durba Springs.
Departing from Milyinirri / Pierre Springs, we travel through Glen-Ayle Station, visit the historically significant Well 9 at Palatji, the green plains of Panju / Gandarri / Goodwin Soak, camp a night next to the very white open space of Lake Aerodrome, find more burnt out scrap metal on the side of the track, show you how to do a pre-start check, tell you what happened to Murray Rankin and his trolley, climb a hill to Canning’s Cairn, skip past Well 17 (but that’s actually historically accurate), and arrive at the amazingly picturesque and green Pinpi / Durba Springs, an incongruously lush oasis in the desert.
